Objective: The main objective of the project – improvement of the general well-being of the children 0-7 in the Municipality of Lom by forming and development of parent knowledge and skill in their upbringing and education, for parents in risk group as well as assistance of the physical and psychic health of the children from 0-7 years also from risk groups and assisting in the process of school readiness of children in risk up to 7 years old in the Municipality of Lom

Project: "Reinforcement of the shore of the Danube River in the area of the town part of Lom"
Objective: Not-letting of new menace from flooding in town and sustainable decision of the problem with the high waters of the Danube river in the area of the town of Lom. The implementation of the project creates stability of the shore in the zone and meanwhile it reclaims the "lost" territory with total area of about 4 000 m2
Result: Construction of 850 m of quay wall. Suspended erosion activity of the Danube river in the region. Suspended danger of the high waters of the river. Reinforced shore and appropriate urbanization of the shore zone with increase of the passengers

Project: "Street sewerage collector of Boruna quarter "– II Stage
Objective: Reinforcement of Boruna quarter which falls into landslide area in the North-West part of the town. About 3000 people live in the quarter. Rehabilitation of "Al. Stamboliiski" street which is part of the republican road E-79
Result: Construction of 1050 m collector of "Aleksander Stamboliiski" street

Project: "Integrated management and purification of the waters in the town of Lom"
Objective: Preparation of package of investment projects whose implementation will lead to improvement of the development of the technical infrastructure for waste waters in the town of Lom, development of the ecological infrastructure for restoration of the natural environment and preservation of the ecologic potential of the Danube river and the region, improvement of the way of life of the population of Lom and coverage of the requirements of the European ecologic legislation in the sphere of establishment of the sewerage systems, including the City purification station for waste waters. Preparation of entire documentation in the due term, volume and quality that allows to Municipality of Lom to receive the grant by Operational Programme Environment 2007 – 2013 for construction of the needed infrastructure for waste waters in the town of Lom. Increase of the capacity of the municipal administration for project implementation on Operational Programme Environment 2007 – 2013

Project: "Improvement of the infrastructure in the Municipality of Lom for waste management"
Objective: Increase of the capacity of the Municipality of Lom for handling with the problem connected with the waste management including decrease of their volume which will reflect in the optimization of the expenses for their transporting to the regional depot for non-danger waste in Montana. Planning of the development of the ecologic infrastructure in the region and following improvement of the quality of life of the population will be ensured with the project. The direct objective of the present project is reaching of the needed operational readiness of the Municipality of Lom for development and implementation of the following investment project. It will be achieved by the preparation of the all needed technical and project documentation for construction of overloading station. The preparation of quality documents and the required application form will give an opportunity for application for financement of the investment projects of Operational Programme Environment 2007 – 2013, Priority Axe 2: "Improvement and development of the infrastructure for waste management"

Project: "Centre for Family Type Accommodation 'For happier childhood' of the town of Lom"
Objective: Delivery of conditions close to the family environment and re-intergration of the families of children of the Children's Home "Milosardie". Development of skills of children and their preparation for self-dependent life
Result: Building, which is municipal property, will be repaired and equipped with funds of the projects. Trainings "Art-therapy", "Cooking and culture of eating", "Basic computer skills" are foreseen. Participation of the teenagers in exhibitions and concerts are included. In the frameworks of the project, public forum "Right of future" will be held

Project: "Establishment of daily centre for old people "Home on the Danube"
Objective: Creation of conditions for overcome of the social isolation and integration in the society of the old people at retirement age from the villages of Kovachitsa, Stanevo and Dolno Linevo by delivery of medical, social and educational services in the community, leading to improvement of the quality of life and effective social protection. Foundation Women for Lom with the partnership of the Municipality of Lom and Roma Lom foundations are executors of the project
Result: The centre "Home on the Danube" will be implemented in three-floor building, municipal property, which will be repaired and furnished with funds from the project. Direct beneficiaries are 40 people at retirement age in accordance with the Code for social insurance, which are motivated to overcome the social isolation and to actively participate in the life of the community by usage of the services of "Home on the Danube". 25 people from Kovachitsa and 15 from the villages of Dolno Linevo and Stanevo will be included in the project.
